Making it as an Artist
Thank goodness for the internet. I came across this great site by Natasha Wescoat. She has written lots of quick read articles about being an artist in 2009 and beyond. Finishing prints and organizing thoughts
So today I decided not to enter the NHIA show. I looked at alot of prints and tried to put into words what they are about. This process just stops me in my tracks. Keep it simple – Gelatin Prints
Keep it simple when the prints get small. I like to have range of values in my prints and with gelatin prints things can get muddy pretty quickly. Sometimes less is more. I am still playing with the ATC prints. This print was made with a block of wood and 3 pieces of thread on an old dictionary page. Enjoy! Post by Linda Germain

Choosing Gelatin Prints for Contemporary Art Exhibit @ NHIA
I am trying to pick a couple of prints to submit to the Contemporary Art Biennial @ New Hampshire Institute of Art. It’s hard to choose and not possible to know what the juror will like.
