Today I worked at the farm selling veggies and picking beans. It is a wonderful place to be with big skies and good dirt. And the marketing for the ArtSpace http://artspaceatbentleylibrary.blogspot.com/ ate up a bunch of my time too, and I was not very focused or motivated to paint, draw or print. But I worked on another couple of “She Moved” dog drawings/paintings and was pleased that I went through the process. The one above I started with black paint blocking in the dark areas and the She Moved. So I started again and then She moved so I started blocking in the light areas and then the whole thing was very wet so I started writing thoughts, feelings, questions, reactions.

I am working small – a 4″ by 6″ piece of month old gelatin, and I am pleased with the results. I can’t stay away from dictionary pages and recycled papers. It’s amazing how much grasses and weeds differ. I love the delicate little lines that they can create. Enjoy!
