- newsprint or old phone book
- brayer
- paint or ink, water based
- rags
- stencils
- stamping tools
- container of water to clean brayer

These are the main 2 types of impressions that you get.
This is a shape impression made with masking stencils. You get the shape of the stencils.
This is a detailed impression you get the details left in the ink under the stencil.
