Gelatin Printing – step 3

Now the fun begins.

Hopefully, you have your workspace set up and you are ready to print.

Supplies:

  • lots of paper to print on
  • newsprint or old phone book
  • brayer
  • paint or ink, water based
  • rags
  • stencils
  • stamping tools
  • container of water to clean brayer

These are the main 2 types of impressions that you get.

This is a shape impression made with masking stencils. You get the shape of the stencils.

This is a detailed impression you get the details left in the ink under the stencil.
