I enjoyed a Play for the Day – Gelatin Printmaking class today at my Studio in Haverhill. There are a few more dates scheduled for the summer. Check out the details here. We –
- did some yoga printmaking
- learned how to pre-ink the stencil for impact, contrast and color
- made a huge pile of experimental prints
- learned a few ways to add contrasting marks to make the print pop
- we shared names of several artists/teachers who we admire
a Perfect Day of Gelatin Printing…
We all left with a new interest in exploring the gelatin monotype print.
