Merry Christmas and hope everyone is relaxing, skiing or having some kind of fun this vacation week.  I am taking the time to regroup and organize for the new year.

  1. Thanks for all of the information on gelatin plate printmaking. I’ve read Making Monotypes using a Gelatin Plate and am looking forward to experimenting with it. I’ve done a variety of other kinds of monotype printing, so I’m eager to add one that doesn’t require a press. I appreciate the hard work you put into your blog.

  2. Happy holidays and thanks for all the inspiration and instruction. With a long holiday vacation (ok, furlough), I’ve been having a great time stretching a gelatin plate to its limit and my printer to its full capacity as well–after scanning some gelatin prints I’ve been using my all-in-one’s color copy mode to print the gelatin images onto things like vellum and typing paper-it’s a little like disapearing into my own navel, but–you know–in a good way!

  3. Glad to get you printing on the gelatin plate!! If so inclined share some image on the flickr page or the Facebook page. I am sure we will be inspired by your gelatin prints.
