Perforated Prints – experimental Printmaking

Today I moved through the fears of not making prints that matter or that are good enough. I experimented with some gelatin prints that I had cropped down to a small book size. I used the sewing machine to draw lines of light. This monotype to the right is printed on both sides and can be viewed from both sides.

  1. Hi Linda,
I enjoyed your YouTube videos on gelatin printmaking! Had my second session this weekend at home and really love the process and the results (see my blog). I like the holes your sewing machine made on this piece; it’s dramatic.
